Mitigation of Georisks
The Georisk-Project (Mitigation of Georisks) is a technical cooperation of the Geological Agency of Indonesia (Badan Geologi) and the German Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR). Its objective is to develop and test practical georisk assessment methodologies and to support the implementation of findings in national, provincial and local georisk mitigation strategies, both for short term and in the long run. The project is commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and implemented as part of the Good Local Governance project of GTZ.
